Section 116
Disorderly behavior at political meetingsAny person who, at a political meeting —
(a) acts or incites another to act in a disorderly manner for the purpose of preventing the transaction of the business for which the meeting was convened, or
(b) has in his possession an offensive weapon or missiles, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a maximum fine of N500,000 or imprisonment for a term of 12 months or both.
(c) delivers to an electoral officer any nomination paper or result form knowing it to be forged,
Offences here include disorderly acts or behaviour, inciting disorderliness at a political meeting to prevent the purpose of the convening as well as Possession of offensive weapons or missiles.
Section 152 defines “offensive weapon or missile” to include any cannon, gun, rifle, carbine, revolver, pistol or any other firearm, bow and arrow, spear, cutlass, knife, dagger, axe, cudgel, or any other thing capable of being used as an offensive weapon or missile, including teargas, acid, and any inflammable substance capable of injuring a person.
